Language Arts

When all of the reading and spelling components are in place then a reader is able to attend to the task of Language Arts. This involves getting meaningful and clear thoughts down on paper using correct punctuation, sentence structure, grammar and capitalization. It also involves the higher order thinking processes of prediction, inference, main idea and drawing conclusions to enable a person to read the writings of others and learn from them (or get a good grade on an English test!).
